Mellow Margarine

An assignment I did for school trying out 2D characters in a 3D setting. It’s very unfinished with tons of mistakes an cut corners, but I ran out of time, hahahaha. It happens every semester because I’m too ambitious. 

Fun fact: This was supposed to be about 4 minutes long but my teacher stopped me from being insane, haha. 

Here’s the full crappy animatic I made in 6-7 hours, with the full original story intact below. I wanna do the whole thing one day (hopefully).

This is an animatic I made for class over a year ago! It’s a bit rough on the edges but overall, pretty happy with it!

Original concept I’ve been working on all semester. 

It’s called Hanako-san and it’s based on the Japanese urban legend!

First Environment: 3rd Floor Girls’ Toilet

I was done with this ages ago but I forgot to post. Also, just to check in so people know I’m not dead.

Making roboto sketches for class. I got the topic Renaissance/Victorian and medic. 

Short film loglines I did along with sketches. I’ll hopefully be able to develop them further.

First one: A rebellious girl is sent to an academy for wayward girls where she discovers that students are being kidnapped by the head teacher during the night and turned into perfectly polite clones of each other. Now, with the help of other girls she arrived with, they plan to rescue the other girls and escape, or risk being turned into liveless clones themselves.

Guys, I think I’ve just found a whole chunk of lost media! The full English dub of the Canadian cartoon ‘My Life Me’. It was being sold in a 3 in 1 deal with a bunch of other CDs at a local CD shop.

The animation is finally done! Well, it was done ages ago, I just got really lethargic after the semester break started!

Final Project of my Technical Drawing class.

The brief was to create a main character based on an animal, country and profession, along with 2 incidental characters that belong in the same universe.

My keywords were hamster, Syria and policeman. The story takes place in 1960′s Damascus.

Talibah al-Noury is a brown ermine woman who studies Political Science in Damascus University. She is an activist who is actively encouraging more women to take education as a priority. She convinces Mahdi to become the leader of the rebellion.

General Nijad is the main antagonist. The head of the police force and the mastermind of the corruption happening in Damascus.
