enough so she could get by for a little bit without having to worry. she'd always stretched gold further than others. frugality had been what saved her life on more than one occasion.

zelda has never needed much ———— and perhaps that comes from a place of luxury, because she's always had more than she needed. even now, she can live comfortably. she does not mind the lack of wealth, but she doesn't forget the privilege of being a princess, at the end of the day.
