I work in what is euphemistically called a factory for 100,000,000 (one hundred million) years. Trust me it’s not as long as it sounds when you’re in eternity. But you get a nice vacation becoming a biological life form on some world for however long you get to be corporeal. I mean they tell you how many years it is but being from eternity it doesn’t make sense. Oh and anyway you promptly forget as soon as you’re born. I’ve had quite a few vacations from eternity. They throw you into life and at first I think it feels like eternity.

Ask anyone who becomes corporeal and they’ll tell you on the eternity side being alive it can feel like eternity (I’m told it is an echo of the before) but then everything changes as you grow and gain knowledge. Very few life forms know where they’ve come from or where they go. I love this vacation from eternity. This human experience is amazing. It’s unpredictable in a predictable sort of way. Grounded in the present it’s terrifying when it ends
