I've never seen so many angry fat people in my whole life.

You know it's going to be a bad work day when people are asking you questions before you even get inside the store.

When working for the public, you have to pretend that you don't have a window or common sense. People will say things like:"It sure is hot outside!"

"Gosh it's cold!"

"Did you know it's raining"

Now, I appreciate the attempt at small talk. Hell, I appreciate that they acknowledged the cashier at all. However, every time someone says something like this I have to keep from saying:

"I don't understand why it's so hot, I mean it's June!"

"Imagine that in winter."

"No sir, I couldn't see the rain through the huge window we have here on the front end of the store."

It sure does get old talking about the weather 100+ times a day.
