All the parts left are uploaded in this folder since tumblr didn’t allow me to post more media.

This were the key frames, I wanted to make sure the figure didn’t change too much and the difference between each bounce was similar, before doing the in between. 

I used the animator’s survival kit to know how to animate a horse walk cycle and run. I tried looking at the reference sent by Harriet but I somehow couldn’t figure out the speed and the key frames. Which made the the figure change a lot frame by frame.

I think one of the things that made the box seems heavier was the way the body fell with the box on the table, and the arch.

I felt like my part didn’t have much going on, and after all is quiet boring to see so I hope I had played more with the aesthetic and the animation style. After watching a few animations in black and white I realise they experimented a lot with textures and lighting. I tried to incorporate the texture in the dress and hair by using a thin pencil but I feel like there was a lot more room to experiment. However, the light is dull and could have been used in a better way. I also tried to make the walking cycle with double bounce like in old cartoons, in that way it would also make the character look mode bubbly, which I think worked well.

This was the animation finished with the sound. I tried to make it sound like old cartoon, I got some feedback from my some friends and they told me that it reminded them of Mickey Mouse, so I think it worked well. I also added a filter to make it look like more retro since Chris recommend it to me a few times in the tutorials, which I think was really effective.

This was the whole animation once finished, I made the background cleaner too since the first one felt too sketchy.
