Some is better than none. Some is better than none. Some is better than none. Walking for three minutes, is better than nothing. Drinking a glass of water and eating a snack, is better than nothing. Wiping down the counter, is better than nothing. Small things are not nothing. Small things are not nothing. Small things are not nothing. You don’t have to achieve grand things if all you’re capable of right now is the smaller things. They are still achievements. Don’t do nothing just because you don’t think you’re capable of doing bigger things, just do something you’re capable of today.
Small reminder that DID is often a covert disorder and overt DID is actually pretty rare. A person could go their whole life without knowing they have DID because that's the point. You do not need to know who you are all the time or who's fronting or need to feel like you're a faker because you act the same pretty much all the time. You do not need to act drastically different between your headmates to be valid.

Bitches love it when someone/something is called shit like "the hat man", tell me about The Woman on the Phone
OH BOY YOU PICKED THE URBAN LEGEND LETS GO
Uhhh warnings for like. Someone being dead and shit LMAO
So, we start off with a simple woman. Maribel! She actually starts off her story as a normal human. Maribel actually had no husband, but did have a son from some lover she had taken in the past. Maribel and her son, Daniel lived a pretty simple life. Things weren't perfect, but they were still alright. Maribel got to watch her son grow up and get married.
And then he got murdered.
He was found dead in his home, wife nowhere to be found. To everyone else, whether it was a murder or suicide was actually left unclear, as there was a note saying that she would be leaving Daniel left in the hall, some small ways away from the bathroom where Daniel was. There was also a sign of some struggle, but who was struggling against what wasn't able to be recognized.
The police investigated a little bit, but their minimal efforts proved to be unhelpful. Maribel also tried to solve it herself, but with little to no investigative skill, she had nothing but grief to her name. There were a lot of things that were unclear, but she was sure it wasn't suicide. Someone had murdered her boy, and she just wanted him back.
She actually came to Bellringer first. The first time she came, he sympathized with her. Losing a loved one in such horrible fashion has to hurt, but there was nothing he could do. So, he sat with her and listened to her tears.
The second time she came, she insisted that he reverse time. Or at least, that he reverse time on Daniel. She'd get his body if she had to drag his corpse there. Of course, he told her he couldn't do that. It'd create an anomaly in time to reverse time in such a focused area. And even if he reversed time overall, she'd lack the memory to know Daniel would be murdered, so he'd just get murdered AGAIN.
The third time she came, she pleaded, and upon being rejected again, she lashed out. She called him a failure of a god, selfish, heartless... Whatever she could throw out there, really. It was ultimately schoolyard insults, but insults Bellringer spited her for. So, he finally said:
"You want your son to live again? Fine, but when I say I can't do it. I meant it. It has to be someone else. It'll take an interest in you, if it hasn't already. Open the strange door, and you'll get your wish."
And truly, she had no fucking idea what the fuck that meant. She went home, opened every door that she could, and nothing. She looked around for days, even going so far as to go to neighbor's houses and open their doors, or go to stores and open any strange looking doors, but none of them were right.
A few days later, she was leaving the graveyard after leaving flowers at Daniel's grave, and that's when she saw it. In the park next to the cemetery, there it was. A door, placed into the middle of an open field. It actually looked like a completely normal door, but just... in an odd place.
She basically ran into it. Didn't matter to her if she ran through the street with cars, or that she nearly tripped herself. Once she was at that door, she swung it open and walked inside.
It was a white void. A white void that was only broken up by the doors held up in chains waaaaaay above her head. She looked back, and the door she came in from had vanished. She was going to get her wish, and that was a threat.
It appeared to her in the form of a spider, a black lace weaver. Though, instead of being a smaller thing, it towered over her. Its voice came through in the sound of her son's voice.
"You've been looking for me," it said "The first time I've been sought out."
"I-uh..." Maribel faltered "I heard you'd... grant my wish! I-... I know my son is dead. I know it's too late to bring him back, but... please! I need to hear him one last time! I didn't...-"
"Done!" The spider said cheerily
A door appeared in front of her. Its door opened to reveal a dark space with a simple rotary phone on a table, placed under a spotlight. Maribel didn't waste any time in rushing in to pick up the phone, but instead of hearing Daniel's voice.
"Hey, is this Burger Palace? I'd like to place an order."
"Wh-?" Maribel hung up the phone "This isn't my son."
"It isn't?" It asked "Have you tried the other one?"
"The other one?" Maribel looked around. So much so, she actually ended up doing a full rotation. There was nothing until she turned to face the door again. Or at least...
Where the door used to be.
Instead of the door, there was another phone. And so, she picked it up.
In the current world of Demaura, Maribel has essentially become a living, urban legend of sorts that maintains real life consequences on the world. If, while in Ezux, you dial a specific number, you will actually get connected to her.
If you tell her you are not Daniel, she gets angry and hangs up. Even when honest, people who call her will begin to suffer from paranoia, nightmares, and a rapidly declining mental health. Most who actually do this end up committing suicide, or nearly do.
If you lie, and tell her you are Daniel, specifically her Daniel, she'll know you're lying anyway. And everything that would happen to you when you tell the truth? Yeah, made 10 times worse when you lie. People suffer full on psychotic breaks from doing this, and it's not pretty.
There's only been one person who's actually lived the latter encounter, and has been permanently changed because of it. He's actually GAINED a tremendous amount of power, but has essentially lost his mind. His base power was harshly changed from what it was before to a power over radio waves, communication channels, what have you. He also has a habit of calling people "Daniel", no matter your gender.
And the thing is, It didn't lie to her, either. One of the phones in her domain WILL actually let her hear Daniel, but only his final moments, and he won't respond to anything she'd say as it's basically just an echo of the past. However, which phone it is will remain completely unknown to her. She's answered hundreds of phones already. In her grief, she's entirely lost the woman she used to be, and she'll never get her back.
Also, to add onto this, the reason why she's more of an urban legend/fact of life and not actively a missing person is because she's essentially displaced in time. She's from the 13th Beginning (the current timeline is the 14th). The Maribel of the 14th beginning has already lived her life to the fullest, and is long since passed away
Hey, not ALL rain is green!! It's actually during a specific season. We kiiiinda just stole the green rain from Stardew Valley and placed it in Demaura, BUT HEAR ME OUT CAUSE THERE'S A REASON-
It's a weather pattern that is specifically started in Aigrex as an effect of its curses. Green rain in Aigrex is the deadliest time in the whole year for its residents, as the plants on the lighter side of Aigrex become significantly larger, more powerful, and even more ravenous. And on the darker side, its poisonous plants get an even more potent poison that could kill adults in a matter of minutes. Plenty of lives have been lost during this weather event.
However, this green rain then moves to the rest of the world, where it just makes the plants grow larger, thicker, juicier, what have you. Without the curse layered on top, this rain is essentially harmless, if a bit of a nuisance when it comes to cities and such.
