They're adorable. Just... oof, we really haven't had a BL with characters this genuinely young in a long time and there's a lot to be said for that. For the real young characters and the innocence and youth that comes with them.

There is just something about this moment and the comfort and the casual affection and the way they are absolutely perfect and how this had to have lead directly to the confession on the beach and all the affection they so desperately want to give each other constantly.
