right? there's a reason why they're at the top when it comes to superhero movies. it's going to be so hard to think of him as anyone other than tony stark, but i am so excited to see him as dr. doom! it has been fun seeing some of the ideas people have thrown out, and there will probably be more after spider-man and the re-release of endgame.

you're probably right, but as of now december seems so far away. i want it to get here quickly so i can see the movie, but i don't want it to get here since it also means it'll be winter. 😅 that's definitely one of the biggest talking points—people either love or hate that he's back. i'm not sure how i feel about it yet. i want to wait and see how it plays out.

there are, but i think that could be said most years. 😂 it's a good thing though, because at least it means plenty of options when looking for something to watch.

even if you don't read the comics or anything like that, i think the movies are still pretty enjoyable on their own! uhm, you could probably get by from watching just the avengers ones? so avengers, age of ultron, infinity war, and endgame. there's a lot that happens between those movies, but it should still be easy enough to follow along with.

part of me wants to do that too, but i also know i'm way too curious so i can't help but see what people are saying when i see it mentioned. 😅 maybe that'll change as it gets closer to the release date, but for now i think i'm lucky since i haven't seen too many complaints. ooh, can we? if we fly out on thursday instead of friday morning, we can see it then and have a little date night in green bay. 😇

can we talk about the doomsday trailer? i told myself i wasn't going to get too excited about it, but all of that went out the window as soon as i saw the x-men again. december seems so far away now, it's going to be so hard having to wait. at least the new spider-man is out next weekend. hopefully that'll help tide me over.

i'm happy i can help you in whatever way, but i'm sorry if i make you feel guilty... if it helps, i'd worry even if i didn't have my own work to focus on a lot of times. i love you, so that means i'm always going to want to look out for you and make sure you're not stretching yourself thin. and thanks, you don't know how much it means to hear that. i know you're right, because i wouldn't have several commissions in various state of completion scattered around the 'office' if people were unhappy with my work—but a reminder is always nice. especially when it comes from you. mine too! i don't think i'll ever like when i have to spend time away from you, but when i see your face again or feel your arms wrap around me when i get home or when you pick me up from the airport... i can't even describe how wonderful it is. it's the greatest way to be welcomed back. really? that sounds perfect! your mom promised to show me how she makes her tamales the next time we visited. 😊
