i was looking on my old photobucket account today and found this. i’m posting it because this is the one and only picture i’ve ever loved of myself. this is a picture of me, obviously. it’s about 7 years old. i love this picture for a lot of reasons. first of all, it’s a genuine smile. i never smile in  photos, and if i do, it isn’t real. second of all, i love this because it was candid. my friend was off to the left and had made me laugh and look at her, and my best friend snapped the photo. another reason, i love this photo because this is the one of the only visible memories i have of a time in my life when i was genuinely happy. i remember exactly who i was with, what we did that day, where i was, and what my friend did to make me smile. i haven’t been genuinely happy for much of my life, so having a snapshot of it is very special to me.

All I can ask, is that you remember her and pray for her sweet daughter Lyric and her family and closest friends. Kelsi was an amazing person, a phenomenal friend  and she tried her hardest to be the best mother she could be. I hope that you all can remember the good things about her and try to look at the brighter side of things; Kelsi is happier now. I will attempt to continue her blog, but it will not be anywhere close to how active she was. I hope this brings a little insight to those that were curious or confused. May you all have a great week, and please, keep Kelsi in your thoughts.
