This feeling is getting the best of me...

It’s way more complicated now...

I am not okay with this...

I was never okay ... 

I still think of you...

                wherever you are...

whoever you have become...

      We are truly more fragile than we think.

                                                         So let your frailty be your fortitude.

I have held to it for so long. I must let it go. 

Take flight, my dear. For you have been enveloped in the past for far too long. You have been granted the wings to fly as far as the universe can span.

You served me well.  

At first, like most of my approaches in life, I was apprehensive.

I’m learning that I am growing by the day. I’m filling into my own person. I’m overcoming obstacles by the day. That is something to be proud about. When the going gets tough, I have to remember I can strive for better than yesterday. In time, those “yesterday”s become “yesteryear”s quickly.

The days seem so much shorter as you grow older. You get caught up in the motions of the minute to minute, day to day, month to month. And BOOM those years have crept up on you!  That is why savoring is something I need to try and do. It’s hard to do so when I spend time worrying when the next moment will rear its unwelcome head.
