• Did a thing. Bought a house. All by my damn self. I’m so fucking proud. She’s a 1940’s mid century modern pueblo home. Got an art studio and everything. Little me would be so proud. This is what we worked so hard for.

• Increased my income by 3x in the last 3 years. Considered a subject matter expert on my team at a Big 5 tech company. On track to promotion. Once again, little me would be so proud.

• Relationship stuff has been a whirlwind of sorts. But we’re getting a hang of it. We’re just two very different people who love each other who got off to a (very) rocky start. I held up a mirror & forced him to take a good look at himself and he resented that for a while. He was weak and preferred the company of his delusions. And I certainly resented him, too. Apart of me almost sought to punish him for the past. Very on brand for the Scorpio moon that I am. But hey, we’ve learned the important lessons. Even if it took 3 years. It got done. Am I a little jaded? Yeah. Am I worried about it? Nah. It builds character. And I have good reason to believe that the darkest of days are behind us. He loves me to death. He’s catching up. I’ve learned to forgive and take a step back. I think it’s going to be okay.

• Focused on making home improvements, picking up new hobbies/crafts, and traveling this year. The goal is to experience snow for the first time. No, I haven’t seen snow and no I do not live under a rock. I’m just a lizard who loves the sun!!

• I have the pleasure of being a dog mommy to a clever, energetic, fun-loving, loyal, and anxious puppy. I couldn’t have done the whole up-rooting myself thing without him. He’s brought so much joy into my life. I’m a lucky duck. 🫶
