proof that helmet party is canon backed up with SCIENCE and LOGIC
hi i was inspired by this amazing post by caillousweave (which btw shortfuse is also canon). this is going to be a long winded ramble so apologies for my poor grammar. ok so uhhh
they’re ok with causal physical touch (hand on back, hand on shoulder)
engie also reaches for soldier first in this photo?? don’t you think it’s weird that he didn’t reach over to medic first since they’re more friendly with each other? (being lab partners and all)
i want to talk about like this scene in general when soldiers can’t teleport bread anymore. engineer said he can continue teleporting bread in such a warm tone? and why is he so happy he just learned that the bread they were eating were filled tumors. and then he pats soldier on the back? ok…
why does soidler glances over at engie when he puts his helmet back on? it’s nothing to pay attention to so why bother? could he perhaps have feelings for him?
this one is so damn weird but in the mann vs machine trailer engine was first standing next to heavy and scout but once soldier and demo join the group he moved to stand next to soldier?! did he choose to move over to him? cmon it has to be canon
ok now i want to talk about voice lines. when soldier uses engineer’s teleporter he gives him a cute nickname?? if i recall correctly only him and miss pauling have ever called him engie (at least in the game i’m not sure about the comics)
and i have no idea what they meant with this voice line. are they trying to imply something? is soldier trying to tell demoman about his feelings for engineer? i know these lines never made it in the game but cmon you can’t make this up.

what’s my final verdict? um helmet party is canon and valve should hire me RIGHT NOW
