Ah, The Big Sleep. Aka that lil 12 page webcomic.

So, I always saw it as I suppose a prequel to the telltale games ? The fact that it's Sam and Max being buried alive and then they come out of the ground and it's conveniently the 21st century, whitch is when the telltale games come out, feels like a way to tie in stuff timeline wise ?

But also this is Sam and Max and timeline stuff doesn't matter unless it does, in whitch case, yeah it does matter, just don't overthink it ! Unless in a scenario or context in whitch you probably should overthink it. In that case, maybe don't underthink it, unless-

...maybe just...middlethink it ??

I know some people dislike the art for this comic because its less detailed then the other comics. While yes, it DOES overall have a more simple look to it, it has this nice, pleasant water color look to it. I think that looks really unique compared to the other comics, well, classic...comic...book-y..look(? I don't even even know what I'm trying to say)

its also always funny to me how Steve's artstyle went from very round to very sharp.

And as I think most of us know, it-atleast the location the comic starts at-is inspired by this !!

From whitch the comic starts.

Over all I think the comics funny and has appealing art. It DOES feel somewhat unfinished, (whitch it wasn't finished, from what we know.) But it also does feel like the end is well, a suitable end ! So that somewhat there feeling of unfinishedness doesn't really bother me.

Also I like that it feels like Max got to do abuncha stuff and Sam was the one who almost died !! Typically in Sam and Max it's the other way around.

To whitch I say, we should let Max do stuff more and have Sam die/almost die more.

anyways I think the plot of the comic is fairly funny.

Also this guy was great.

shoutout to max kicking that guy in the face in the background.

I want Kenneth and Sal to meet btw.

I also feel like Max talks a bit more in this comic compared to a lot of the older ones ? That could just be me tho.

Anyways it has plenty of charming and funny parts.
