Grace spending the night at Lindas house. Shed planned to go home, but Linda had gotten home much later than she was supposed to, and it was far too dark for her to bike back now. Linda had so kindly offered her a guest room for the night (She would have taken Grace home, she said, but she was afraid she was a little too tipsy). And, well, Grace had no choice but to agree. Meanwhile, Linda, who had planned this weeks in advance (Gerald was out of town and the boys were asleep already; Gracie is a very good babysitter) pours her a drink and puts her in the room next to hers with a connecting doorway. And, if some of her sleeping pills mysteriously ended up in that glass of water, well... Gracie would just have some very interesting dreams. -🪐
