A power window mechanism for a Dodge van circa 1997. Long steel wires run up and down the track and are wound into the black box by a motor.

The Grand Kugel. In Richmond Virginia. The real name is 'Earth and Moon'. Its a huge granite ball that weighs tons an it is inscribed with the land masses of earth. As it slowly levitates and rotates on a jet of water. If you try hard enough, you can stop it and set it rotating in a new direction.

I found this old wood goose in a thrift shop. It was a dark wood from the 1970s that, these days no one cares about and they end up in the landfill. This one got a good cleaning, a repaint. Add an old mech timer and now it sits proudly waiting to tell you when t hat egg is done. All handpainted of course.

Give this to your kids and tell them to be careful.

The Sea King. ....part . 24 More detail sanding and shaping. I cannot sand this material indoor, the plastic sand is too gritty and fine. It gets in everything. Even sanding outside, I am careful to pick up as much of the dust as possible. ..there is enough plastic in the environment already.
