@maryloy, yup, haramaki (belly warmers for men) and haraobi (belly warmers for pregnant women) seem to be A Thing.
@londett, if I could, I’d wear my standard outfit every day, including to work: too big man’s shirt, faded Levi’s, scruffy hiking boots. Alas, ‘tis not to be. I wish you lots of genki-ness.
PS: Even trees wear belly bands called komomaki, but it’s pest control, not temperature control. :D
