The Tour of Britain 2014

A few photos from the Tour of Britain, as they flew through my home village of Stone Cross.

The first 5 came through and then there was a 8 min gap the rest. Within a blink of an eye the other 60 riders flashed past, I think I managed to get 17 frames, and then they were gone for another year.

I do hope that they come back through again next year.

A day in the Wild West

Just a few faces from the Wild West town of Laredo

Yesterday was our yearly trip to Brighton Pride. This is always a bit of a mad day, with all type of people taking part in the parade.

Eastbourne Pier on fire

After 140 years Eastbourne Pier court fire. This is not the first time this has happened and this time it was the old Ball Room, now the Arcade, not the Theatre, now night club, as last time. The advantage of this is that repairers should be easer.

One week earlier I was taking photos of the lightning and this week I was watching molten iron falling from the underside into the water below.
