p e r f e c t ;

She stared out at the lake, the Forest in the distance. After a moment she sighed heavily “Some moron said this was supposed to be peaceful or some shit. I just see a flat lake, even the squid hasn’t popped up for a chat.”

   “I agree and disagree.“ Cami stated, because it was about her mood swings, from which she built an opinion for the huge lake near the school. “Right now it’s pretty okay, if you ask me.“

  Ailyn let out a chuckle, glancing sideways at the blonde. “Me too, but I’m not too bothered. Being energised is overrated, you see —– minds work much more creatively when bordering on exhausted.” She reached out for the bottle of wine, smirk playing on her lips. “What’s got you so tired, then?”

   “Perhaps that’s true Ailyn,“ Cami said, looking high into the sky above them. “School, my mother’s terrible condition and the fact that I got so drunk, that I missed all that drama lately, and actually, that’s quite good, isn’t it?“

“Yeah, but you know —– people can learn,” said Alice, wishing to continue on the issue as it interested her, as it distracted her, but the other had asked her how she was and she knew she couldn’t avoid that question. And so she gave Cami the answer that she’d given multiple people without thinking about it, “Am holding up, and that’s good for now, eh?”

   Alice, Cami did like. It was for her stubborn and flame in her, and at the very least, the Hufflepuffs were one of the people she didn’t quite hate. “Yeah, it is good.“ Trying not to bring it up, Cami couldn’t just hold it in too much, words spilling from her lips. “My-“ she stuttered, not quite sure how to say the following words, out of  f e a r  of experiencing family loss herself. “My condolences, Alice.“

“Of course, that’s why I’m here. What’re you doing outside this late?”

   “Enjoying the moonlight, it’s soothing. What troubles you?“

“Wow, so Slytherins are actually capable of picking up sarcasm? You got it after a moment, good job.”

   “Whatever, Woodrow.“ Cami stated, waving a hand dismissively. She knew of the things the girl experienced, but that didn’t mean she would sugarcoat her words and thoughts, just because she was a victim of a  w a r  that was too real. “If you have sarcastic intentions, why don’t you just walk away, but instead listen and even reply to me.“

He nodded his head, “Yes, Miss Montgomery.” After all, it was the right thing to do to fix it. If one broke something, then it was one’s obligation to repair or replace the object. As she started to put the cabinet glass back in, he knew it was going to a take a while. “I should hope your charm work is good enough to not have that happen.”

   As the repair charm did its wonders, she was finally done after a few more minutes of struggling. “Done. I’d imagine I am in big trouble for this, correct Professor?“ she asked, wondering if her ol’ friend Albus Dumbledore was to meet with her and her pranks once again.

“Hmm…maybe because I ENJOY it … ?” Abi replied with a small smile on her face. “Don’t you have a hobby?”

   “Fair enough, I guess that’s logical.“ Cami said, shrugging. “Doing stupid shit, that’s my hobby.“ She poked the item in front of the other girl and closed her eyelids as it made the clashing sound.

“Well at least you didn’t have to deal with all of the drama. That would have been rather tiring, don’t you think? Honestly? It was pretty boring. What about you? It sounds like you had fun.”

   “As much as I hate drama, you’d imagine how I would’ve freaked out and probably leave and forget all about it.” Cami stated, rolling her eyes. “I got drunk as fuck, slept like a baby and avoided confrontation.“

“ Possibly, but I’d ask you to fight for my honor. ‘Can’t ruin my manicure’, to quote Cissa. ”

   “I’d bloody win that fight, you know me.“ Cami smiled, raising brows. “How’s your life, Daena?“

“ The fact that fourth years are excited to slip someone a love potion or the fact that you think it’s going to be in your cup? ”

   “Both to be honest. Wouldn’t you be annoyed? Cause if they were to do that to me, I would honestly hunt their little asses down right after I am out of it.“

“Trust me I’m not tryin’ to be rebellious, I’m just tryin’ to work,” Abi replied with a glance at the girl standing next to her. Abi couldn’t be bothered to argue with someone so unapologetic, so she didn’t protest when the blonde plonked herself next to next to her, or the fact that she was sitting on some pretty important notes that she may have to remove from under her arse at some point. “I’m only here ‘cause there’s no desk that can hold all this stuff.” She plucked her wand from behind her ear and began poking at pair of brass scales which sparked loudly a couple of times. It didn’t seem to affect Abi however, in fact she almost looked BORED as she scribbled the observation down on one of the many papers surrounding her. “Oh, I fix things … add to things … distort things … you name it. It isn’t always as borin’ as this though.”

   Making an unsettled frown once the brass scales delivered their disgusting sound to Camille’s ears, she tried to reply t the girl doing boring stuff next to her. “Why do you do that, though? What’s the fucking point?“

It wasn’t that Caradoc wanted to snap at the Slytherin, but as he held the parchment disintegrating in his hands he began to shake his head. “No, just leave it. It doesn’t matter I’ll just rewrite it tonight.”

   “How do you even get motivation for doing homework? Or whatever that was.“

“… Charming.”

   “I guess? Wait, no, it’s not...“

Alecto laughed and smirked. “That did put a bit of a damper on things, didn’t it?”

   “It put a lot of damper on things... though I think I woke up two fucking hours after almost everyone was already gone from the panic. What was the party for you like?“
