weâre all super grateful that holtby isnât going to the white house and that connolly is standing with his previous decision not to go. itâs awesome that both of them made that decision and we shouldnât overlook that! but letâs not forget that devante smith-pelly didnât just say he wasnât going to go. he actively called out trump and said: âThe things that he spews are straight-up racist and sexist. Some of the things heâs said are pretty gross.â I donât want DSPâs statement that heâs stuck by since June 2018 to be drowned out in the wake of these white guys who decided not to go.Â
