My final week. I made a collage. #39Lashes(and not one more)

Just wanted to illustrate how brilliant the Mr Armitage fandom is. Unable to use the tickets I had to see Rich in JCS (chemo 😒) , a quite wonderful lady @sandypassfield purchased an extra programme when she attended the production, and then sent it on to me. Sandy has also been an amazing support with messages that lift me when needed. Thank you Sandy and thank you Rich for bringing us together.❤️

Let’s hope it’s not too long until the smell of the greasepaint lures him back.

Here’s another collage to just wallow in. T2B: A glorious smile from Jasko from Boy in the Woods (2024); Sgt Ellis Stagger wrestling with his loyalties in Missing You (2025); the fresh-faced Steven from Frozen (2006); and of course, the dastardly but divine, delinquent that is Guy of Gisborne in a publicity photo for Robin Hood (2006-2009). I still believe he was just misunderstood. 🤷‍♀️

Seems there was a quiet night at the Stage Door of the Palladium last night, so thought I’d just pop some more scrumptious pics of Rich before your eyes. How can one man look so good?

Decided that just one pic was enough today. It’s one of the studio photos from the NTAs at The O2 Arena, London 11SEP2024. It’s one of those I can never just flick past, I have to linger. A slight smile that’s verging on cheeky and eyes that are saying all sorts of things. This is one of my jaw-droppers – there will be more!

After the sophistication of the blue silk dressing gown of Missing you, we wind back to the fresh-faced Rich of 2008 with this photoshoot by Justin Canning. Rich was a slight and lanky figure later here, transforming his body into the muscled, toned figure that he now adapts according to the character he’s inhabiting. But young as he is in these pictures, there’s no mistaking the direct gaze into the camera that is such a trademark and seers right through us.

Don’t know about you, but a man in a blue silk robe works for me and what is it about bare feet that is so appealing? When that man is Rich in the guise of Sgt Ellis Stagger from Missing You JAN2025, then that’s the complete package (ahem). Woefully underused in this Harlan Coben piece, Rich managed to wear a silk dressing gown and a sergeant’s uniform. Seems some dreams do come true. 🤭 🛌

It’s been said over the last 3 years or so how happy Rich looks when he’s amongst people and books. Today’s collage is from the BBC programme Between the Covers NOV2023 where 4 celebrities share their favourite books and also review two book club choices. It was no surprise Rich chose North and South as his book, acknowledging the impact that playing John Thornton had had on his career. As always, his hands rarely stopped in their emphasis of his words. Glorious Armitage in his happy place.

The Hobbit: DOS Signings, Waterstones Piccadilly DEC2013 part 2. The Q&A session over, see previous collage, Rich and Luke Evans moved to the signing area. Middle left shows him untangling the microphone from inside his cardigan (love that cardigan). Rich looks much more relaxed, laughing with Luke beside him, interacting with people whilst signing and middle top glancing up to give them that glorious smile of his. But I’d love to know what’s going through his head in the bottom right pic.

Hi guys - just wanted to let you know that the JSC tickets I have are going directly to Breast Cancer Now for inclusion in a fundraising event. Thanks to those that supported and showed interest. Hopefully Rich will be helping to make some money for an incredibly brilliant charity that I already have experience of and will continue to use throughout the coming months.

Today’s offering is from The Hobbit: DOS Q&A at Waterstones Picadilly DEC2013 where Rich and Luke Evans sat down to answer questions. Great expressions here, particularly top left, Rich’s eyes looking down and a wry smile on his lips listening to a question. My take on what he’s thinking: ‘Hmm if only I could tell them what really happened’. BTW that’s not a sheep over Rich’s shoulder, it’s Thorin’s fur cape on a poster behind him.

We know and appreciate, that Rich has the most glorious face whether it’s wracked with intensity or bestowing his magical smile. But he also possesses a truly beautiful profile, that has been celebrated here in months and years gone by. But here for your enjoyment, is a collage dedicated to Rich’s profile both in character and as himself.

I seem to be preoccupied with Thorin at the moment, but he is the King who keeps giving. I marvel at the different emotions Rich goes through with him, his facial expressions range from stern intensity to laughter, calm, composed and then bitten by the gold sickness leading him to intone: "This gold is ours. And ours alone. On my life, I will not part with a single coin. Not one piece of it.”. Thankfully he rides out the sickness, and we are treated once more to the wonderfully heroic Thorin.
