     "Me either,“ He replied as he also held her hand in       his, squeezing back. "That will be even better.”

“It’s a date.” She leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. And said her goodbyes to him as she left for work for the night. After she was done work, she left the club and headed over to his car.

“Hey Gorgeous- how was your night?”

  While Pearl was gone, Henry continued to try and perfect his artwork. But seeing how it wasn’t he tore it down and proceeded to ruin the painting. He threw it across the now messy room, getting a brand new blank canvas, he put that on the easel and started to pencil out the outline once more. Completely forgetting about that sandwich.

It took her about an hour to get everything he needed, even had to go to multiple stores to get the right canvas sizes, the right paint, the right oil. Everything on his list bought to his specifics. With the load cumbersome in her arms, Pearl awkwardly let herself back in.   Upon entering the room, she froze, seeing the mess in front of her.

“I’m back.”  She set the bags down, half expecting him to ignore her. As she looked around the room, Pearl started to question everything - why was she doing this to herself?  Because she loved him...  When he would never love her back?

     "Yeah… But I dunno,“ 

  He wasn’t sure if he wanted to live with them, not because they were bad people. The twins were far from that, but again he didn’t want to be a burden on anyone. 

     "I’ll think about it…”

“Please do.”

She smiled wide, then shut the washer lid and turned it on on. He’d lost a lot - been through Hell, she wanted to be there for her friend. They both knew how hard it was to lose family.

“We’d honestly love it if you came and stayed with us.”

     “What will you do if I don’t?”

  Luke asked before he leaned in towards Pearl a little. He looked between her eyes and her lips, half tempted to just kiss her now and not let her answer. But he did want to know her answer.

“I think the better question, Luke- isn’t what I’ll  do if you don’t take my word. I’m no desperate  groupie.” 

All the while looking into his eyes, she lightly moved her hands across where his collarbones were- then rested them on his shoulders.

“The real question is- how GOOD am I going to  fuck you that you’ll want to come back- a whole  lot sooner...”

  Levi smiled lightly at her offer, of course, he’d say yes to that because he didn’t care for Charity especially when it was just the two of them of them alone. Sure, he could go to their boss and file a complaint but would Jace or anybody actually believe him over Charity? Levi didn’t think so. He’d just have to deal with her shit. 

     "Sounds like a deal. Thanks.“

“No problem- and that’s an anytime offer. Like  if you see she’s swapped a shift and is working  on a night your on? Text me anytime. I don’t  mind moving a night here and there.”

Especially since Sky still lived in L.A, most of Amber’s nights were pretty flexible. Plus, Charity was so skeezy; and she thought she acted even worse around Levi.
