never fear, the medic is here!

    Having enough strength to hold his head, the tarkatan general saw the woman coming towards in haste. A brief moment of fear swelled in his chest as he thought of her possibly just ending his life then and there. He could defend himself if need be, thankfully she went to his side and helps him stand up. For someone smaller than him, she was strong enough to hold his weight up. 

     It was strange walking through the base, feeling the stares of the nearby soldiers. He kept his head down, focused on staying up long enough til they could reach a place for him to rest. 

“Thank you.”

     determined, alyona guided his steps to the medical tents & ignored any of the looks given.  she was in no mood to see judgment.  though she wished not to rush him with his INJURY, she knew they needed to get to a room in the tents immediately.  she worried for how his injury was obtained, hoping not from being attacked by soldiers of the special forces.  her curiosity would get her later once he recovered some.  the question echoed in her mind already.

     ❝  almost there, almost there..  ❞

     hearing the thanks from the man, her expression softened.  she could see him from the corner of her eye.  poor thing.  the discomfort of walking through the special forces must be PROMINENT for him.  if another person discovered baraka out there, it would have been a guaranteed death.  acceptance of those from the outworld was low if their appearance did not seem human; the reality of how cruel life could be saddened her.

     ❝  you don’t have to thank me, really..  ❞

her mind was still in quite a haze     ,     stars framing her vision causing some discomfort to brew whenever she looked anywhere     —     but that was the least of her worries     .     ❝     i     …     completely understand     —     but i can ’ t keep myself still    ,     no matter how much is hurt     .     i was caught    &     wounded in a bad moment     —     but there are things that i must do    .     do i have no other choice     ?     ❞

she  gives  a  huff,  annoyed  a  bit  by  everything.  even  years  later,  eris  still  can’t  accept  help  when  given,  let  alone  medical  assistance.  it  makes  her  feel  weak,  that  she’s  not  able  to  fend  for  herself.             ❛  i  said  i  was  fine,  it’s  just  a  small  gash.  ❜            pride  is  a  hell  of  a  thing,  something  eris  had  been  clinging  on  to  for  years  since  the  incident.  it’s  all  she  seems  to  have  these  days,  the  only  thing  keeping  her  alive.

   Standing on shaky legs with his arm over his midsection, Baraka did his best to stay strong despite his injuries. His eyes locked on the women with the bag, taking her warning with a bit of caution. He stood in his spot, not making any more movements. He was attacked by a mob of thieves and managed to get away through a portal. Only to end up in the middle of what he assumed was the desert, a quick look of his surroundings he saw a sign that said S.F. with an arrow pointing it out. He limped in that direction, a half a mile in he could the gates surrounding several large buildings. 

Of course, he did expect some hostility when he neared the base only to run into a woman who was obviously afraid of him by her stuttering words. He was going to speak until his legs gave on him, causing the tarkatan general to fall on his knees.

Lifting his head, he let out several coughs then says “I’m not a threat to you, I just need…help.” It was the only words he could say at the time. 

     just with the stagger in his step, she could tell an INJURY was obtained.  anyone who was injured, she felt compassion for; injuries were not easy to deal with as she has dealt with her own in the past. from soldiers having small cuts, to having broken bones, she had dealt with it all.  gruesome the worse the injury ━ her occupation required an iron gut.  no time to feel nauseous, no time to claim that one could not look.  just help the person & get them to the nearest safe place.  that was what she had to do now as she observed the man’s collapse to his knees.

     her TERRIFIED demeanor washed away as quick steps were performed. alyona knew it was her duty to serve her title, not back off & allow the stranger to succumb to his wounds.  gently, she bent down to get under his arm, having it behind her neck & over her opposite shoulder.

     ❝  just put as much of your weight on me, focus on keeping pressure on the wound.  i have a good hold on you.. i'll take you to the nearby medical area..  ❞

     standing them up, her arm wrapped around him & held lightly on his side ━ avoiding contact with the wound on his midsection.  steps began towards the base, heading in the direction of the medical tents.  certainly, looks would be given, but all she cared about was saving his LIFE.

“Listen my face cannot scar up like this! You act like I am in here every day. I’m in here ALMOST every day!”

     ❝  s - s - so... so.. i am here.. u - under.. the behalf of the special forces, grandmaster..  i w - was.. was sent here.. to.. uhm.. for..  ❞

     alyona moved her hands, crossing over her chest to hold opposite arms. hands frantically moved up & down her biceps in attempt to warm herself as she was not used to the cold.

     ❝  t - tar.. tarkatan..?  you.. ah.. you don’t look like you.. belong in earthrealm, especially near the base of the special forces.. i don’t.. want to cause any problems, BUT.. if you c - come closer to.. the area.. i will need to.. use force to keep you back & i.. i - i don’t wish to.. resort to that.. not at all..  ❞
