greengreen had just dropped and you were sitting next to james until the little notification popped up on multiple streaming platforms that the album had released. you gasped and gently hit james' arm. "you bitch! why didn't you tell me greengreen was releasing today." he just seemed to shrug and laugh it off.

"im sorry, i thought you knew it was today." he replied calmly.

"i didn't know the time! anyways since your here want to listen to it with me?" you asked, eyes blinking softly. technically james had listened to it countless times while recording but for you, it's new and he didn't want to disappoint you.

"sure, you better like it though." he softly threatened. "yeah yeah" you replied while already searching for the album on spotify. after a few seconds and when your about to press play, you shift a little closer to james before mumbling "okay im pressing play, please shut up for uhh... 15 mintues, im about to experience art." he smirked at your words subsequently lying back, anxiously anticipating your reaction.

TNT - <𝟑 .ᐟ

the song filled the room and you saw james gazing at you knowing you could have any reaction in the world but you absolutely loved the few moments you heard. "i love the instrumental, it's so fitting to the song." martins voice started the song off strong and you grabbed onto james' hand as you stared at your phone screen intensely. "you guys sound great, oh my god, this guitar is addictive too." you start rocking along to the beat and hear james laugh, pausing and giving him a stern glare you return to sitting still and just simply taking in the music. you glanced over occasionally to watch how james studied the song, even though he'd listened to it countless times but still analysed, checking for any flaws even though there was none.

REDRED - <𝟑 .ᐟ

when the opening 10 seconds started playing your head turned to face james. "oh my god this is so good. play this in a club and id be in a flow state." "really?" he laughs with a smile on his face. you nodded eagerly while shuffling closer so you can copy the slight choreography he's doing. you watch as he sings the words lightly to himself, getting more into it as the song goes on. you listen to the lyrics and feel the energy they put into recording.

"hey did you know im singing this part?"

"yeahh i recognise your voice it sounds good as shit james." thanks

you began singing redred & greengreen as you managed to pick up the lyrics and the slight dancing you tried to copy off james which wasnt going that smoothly.

"redred... that's redred... that's redred... greengreen" you mumbled along, quietly but confidently. "you'll have to teach me this you know?"" okay i will." the song comes to an end and you stick up your thumbs and smile " that was good! i really like it"

ACAI - <𝟑 .ᐟ

"whats this one?" you ask while leanings forward to check the songs name and reading acai.

you burst out a laugh and james looks confused and blinks softly wondering why the songs so amusing.

"your fatasses made a song for acai?" he turns his head. "yeah we did what about it, you probably like it more than us so your the fatass." he places the bowl of acai he had held up to you down softly laughing st himself. " speaking of which here's the one I got you." " oh my god james thank youu. " you set it aside next to his and listened to the words, noticing the way acai is mentioned so often. you found it funny and showing how unserious they could be while also being able to have so much success. you listen out and heard seonghyeon mentioning how much he likes acai and james had to give you a look. "i know he's not confessing his love for acai right now. don't fucking play."

you continued to smile and laugh quietly at the unexpected lyrics and heartfelt love for acai and slowly ate your own.

YOUNGCREATORCREW - <𝟑 .ᐟ

"wait oh my god youngkeukeu! teppanyaki on my mac i go young keu keu" you hummed lightly and motioned your hands as it was spoken , "oh you learnt the dance?"

"no, i copied from those videos you released a bit back if tou think i can do what your doing then you'll be severely humbled. my abilities extend to this and this only." "oh." he smiled and motioned for you to look at him "ill teach you watch" he waited until the next chorus and did the most basic version of the choreography he could think of and tried to keep himself together watching you fumble with your hands and give up "it's not fair you keep staring at me" suree, just try to not think of me."

" im not even doing the dance anymore and all im thinking of is you singing even though i know its not."

"good." " oh okay?"

the beat went quick and you picked up james' voice and pointed as he laughed at the obvious "yes im singing here."

the backs & heads started repeating and youngkeukeu was repeated once again and you rocked your head along and saw james smiling at you.

Wassup - <𝟑 .ᐟ

the instruments started playing and martin started singing and you instantly felt nostalgic for a moment you wasn't sure even happend.

"this is nicee , its like joyride and go mixed together. like the lyrics and vibes of joyride but like fast and energetic like go you know? and the visualise for this was so nostalgic. i saw that video and keonho was singing this part, you know whats wassup"

"its very calming id get faded to this"

"you would?"

"yes who wouldn't its genuinely making me ascend . "

"im glad you like it"

"the lyrics are really interesting too"

you heard the line, the line that made you fall in love with the song even more than you had with all the previous songs. "oh my fucking lord james i love this, might be my favourite."

Blue Lips - <𝟑 .ᐟ

the faint water sound as you heard martin sing felt calming.

" isnt this martins song?"

"yeah it is."

"its really good , i can like feel it in a way you know?" james simply nodded in agreement.

"i saw keonho swimming as the visualise and its very fitting. its very melancholic in a way too, its bringing like a different side of you guys but in a good way. martin did good with that, i imagine everything leading up to this was difficult as shit."

the melody continued and it brought a sense of peacefulness in contrast to the other upbeat songs that played, you listened to the group speaking and felt drawn to the poetic sense it brought. you briefly closed your eyes and took a deep breath and exhaled as the song came to a end and felt a tranquil sense of your surroundings. the atmosphere changed and you could feel the pain being spoken about through the phone absentmindedly watching james face blankly stare, rembering his own days as a trainee.

the music stopped playing and james was practically shaking with nerves... "did you like it?" he asked. you turned to face him and watched how stiff he was, desperately hoping the hard work payed off. "yes of course! i love it james. you and the rest did so good. its very cortis." he exhaled a sigh of relief and his face lit up immediately. he was so thankful you thought it was good and instantly felt better about himself. you grabbed your phone to send texts to the other members congratulating them on the ep and their hard work towards it amd how good it sounded while subsequently wrapping your arms around james. caught off guard it takes a few seconds before returning the hig back to you. "you deserve it. and look its already got so many listeners." his face lit up as he hugged you back with an element of shock on his face as he sees the number be much higher than the redred numbers a couple days prior.

so you and james just settled down as you continued to play greengreen on loop watching as all the social media posts flooded both of your feeds.

notes - im so sorry oml i haven't had any energy to write but i finally did it 😌 i hope you like my contribution to the greengreen release and thank you so much for liking my other fics like omg i love you all <3 it really kept me motivated!

istg i love greengreen soso much, especially wassup & redred 🙅‍♀️ they're my absolute favourites and hopefully im more consistent of writing as of now 🥹
