Life isn’t a romantic comedy, it’s not the fairytales you grew up watching. You have yourself. The only things that will happen for you are things you’ll create. A boy isn’t going to come save you. He isn’t going to make you feel whole. Not even your friends will be able to pick you up when you fall. Only you will. But that boy and those friends can scar you. They can leave cuts so deep, you’ll never quite recover. They probably won’t apologize, or try to understand and feel for you. They’re in this life for them, and that’s okay. So stop relying on other people. I know it’s hard to accept. But when you fall, wipe yourself off, and pick yourself up. Accept the scars people leave. Forgive & accept them or don’t. Just let go of it. Forget it. You are the only one who is going to soothe you when you cry. You are the only one who is going to understand how shitty this feels. Remember what made you feel that way & dont let it happen again. Change the situation...or the person.
