This rule does NOT apply to staff, faculty, or administration. Exceptions may be made for asks of a positive nature at the discretion of admin.

II. No hate speech. This means no hateful or discriminatory remarks against anyone on the basis of race, gender, sexuality, disability, etc. Overly thoughtless or intentionally offensive remarks will either be deleted or subject to ridicule by admin. 

III. Make sure that your asks are sent anonymously. If you intend for your username to be public, please include this intention in the ask or through DMs.

IV. DMs are open for all further questions, comments, clarifications, and/or concerns.

V. Please avoid describing violent or traumatic life events that are reportable/prosecutable. This blog is not a support/legal resource, it gets into murky institutional Title IX territory with the school, and it could potentially trigger people with similar experiences.

VI. If your ask does not relate to MCAD explicitly or even vaguely, it will be ignored and deleted. This blog is for MCAD-related confessions only.

I wanted to comment about the whole Genshin Impact Club situation, I really shouldn't but wanted to anyways jsjfj.

I'm a former Genshin player, and noticed that there was a club for it, I had checked it out and stuff and it seems fine? I have never been one to be in the fandom so I live under a rock when it comes to stereotypes and what people think of Genshin players. I had stopped playing since the grinding became too much, and it wasn't the same to me after Inazuma had released. You really can't get any characters you want without spending money. This is irrelevant to what I'm stating LOL.

Don't take my thoughts as fact, however if Genshin is what makes people happy I think it's fine for there to be a club for it, clubs should be a safe space and a place for people to have fun, it's not our job to ruin that for others, even if you don't like it. Unless something happens where it harms a club member or themselves, I say let them vibe. Know it's okay to not like it, however let's still keep things a vibe, school is stressful as is. I apologize for my long ramble and know it's okay to disagree with my thoughts! Have a good day and good luck with midterms everyone!

im a freshman (transfer) and although i don’t live on campus i’m here like 5-6 days every week, i’m honestly doing really well in my classes and overall i don’t have many complaints. but i do find it odd how difficult it is to connect with people here. in the first couple weeks i didn’t mind, i knew everyone was still getting used to the place, me included, but i feel like being a little over a month in now i should’ve at least made some mutuals right?

i’d also like to add that i feel like i make myself very available platonically, i love complimenting other peoples works and styles and in crit i do my best to give some input to everyone i can. i do have anxiety (as does like 90% of the people in this school) but i told myself if i’m going to be paying for this shit and giving so much time and effort then i’m going to try to be the best version of myself, and try to get out there more. anyway im not going to lose my shit over it, i’ll live, and on the other hand i’ve connected with most of my teachers and they’ve been so kind and helpful:) i just feel like it’d be nice to have some people i can hang out with while i’m here yknow
