Misunderstood Artist

when will we meet again

I dont know

is there a beginning with no end

or a lifespan of an ink pen

a start and a finish

where overtime there is a quality diminish

do we have a limit

or are we limitless

do we have the world at our fingertips

or are we born fingerless

do we move with intent

or act first and later repent

were our souls heaven sent

just put here to pay the rent

or is there no reason for existence

is it all nonexistent

is there even a purpose

sometimes it all seems worthless

except small glimmers where i find where worth is

will i find the answer before hearse hits dirt

when im reimbursed into the universe

or reincarnated into a new nation

sent down to be with satan

i look at the moon and i think of you

and everything that you do that helped guide me through

my lowest points when i couldn’t find a voice

and how to bring myself joy

and rejoice in all the beauty in life

through the hard times and the strife

it was always you that took the pressure off of the knife

that was pressed on my cold soul

you gave me a reason to be whole

and find the pieces puttin them back together to be better

than the original product

cause after all the time struck it filled my guts with this poison destroyin

my will to live you didn’t have much to give

but it was enough for me to step back from this cliff

that i imagined jumping off of

cause i couldn’t feel love without these damn drugs

my eyes were closed and you helped me get them open and dethaw what was made frozen

from years of chokin

on my sorrows thinking how the time i borrowed wasnt worth the weight of the cargo

mileage isnt the only thing that determines how far the car goes

its about the ware and tare and how much care you give it

my paranoid figments of a delusional living

were giving my mental state an anxiety ridden existence

but you helped me weather the storm and perform at the level of a superstar in a uniform

freeing the chains that made me conform to the ideas that swarmed since i was born

to uncover the person that resided deep down inside that got dragged under by the tides

and pulled to the sea by the currents

encouraging me to branch out and flourish

nourishing the cuts and gashes that made me sting

making me realize i truly was a king

so im grateful for you making me love the things in which i was hateful balancing my imbalances to make me stable
