what do we do when we are so strongly faced with wrong doing? with a feeling of absolute unsafeness and fear? with anger at what faces us, anger at what will happen to the people we love, anger at what will happen to the people we don’t know. having mental illness, facing depression and anxiety, feeling like you need to do something but also feeling your body broken and wanting to heal and rest so badly.

in the aftermath, i can’t come up with any words to soothe any of this. truth be told i am rambling simply to let it be known that i am a person who is hurt. and deciding whether or not to show that pain is the hardest thing. it is so taxing.we will all have to march through this at our own pace. 

but-  those who are angered, frightened, depressed, confused- they are our allies. the catharsis of finding others suffering as you are can be healing. talking, sharing. learning. letting yourself be weak, letting yourself be angry. 

we deserve love, and we deserve rights.
