What I can safely say at least is that I poured a huge chunk of my soul into her. I think, subconsciously, I did make a lot of her in my likeness and as the sort of edgy kid I was in my early early teens. Lively, eccentric, passionate, brave, strong, adventurous... I'm not all of those things anymore, but I guess they still live on in her. She is a sort of anti-hero in my eyes, however. She can be just as brutish, harsh, arrogant, aloof, inconsiderate, short-sighted, temperamental and so on. I really want that to stand out in the story, and how she grapples with all the difficult decisions she'd have to make between choosing to satisfy her own pride, or doing things for the better good of everyone instead. How she grows from being a lost kid searching for her place in the world, to an embittered and frantic leader, and how often her nature would come to clash with her ambitions.

Random blue scribbles. I like to reuse materials, so the first pic is just a piece of leftover laminated paper and permanent marker. Couldn't use guide lines for precise lines on that one, so experimented with style instead. Bottom one is just regular doodle. Unnamed OCs for now bc they deserve better names lol.
