Just read Flesh of My Flesh exactly one (1) minute ago and wow…a lot left me speechless. I’m going to have to send another, wordier ask in once I’ve thoroughly processed it and figured out how to articulate myself—but for now, your lyrical prose that knows subtlety and interpretation of the Olgimsky parents and oh-so-gentle take on Khanpella is my favorite. I’m glad my first Pathologic fan fiction was this.
In terms of scenes, I’m biased for that dream, or rather the aftereffects once she’s woken up. I adore how sweetly awkward and shy it left Capella, left me curious for the transition from their pragmatism about the union to their personal feelings blossoming alongside it, especially when Capella meets up with Khan to tell him. He definitely uttered the first ‘I love you,’ I think he was nuts about her while she was still yet to figure out her feelings

I won't lie I read this last night and it practically made me buzz with excitement so I'm trying to contain myself but I'm really happy you enjoyed 😊😊😊 Khanpella just strikes me as so much more complex than we give it credit for. I tried to display the ambiguity with that fic by setting their relationship into that context of their families- Capella's in this case. I do think that Khan is probably more overt with his feelings, precisely because for him, Capella is like a replacement for the Polyhedron- a woman who will enable him to exist and make his dreams come true, and I don't mean that in the cliche or even sweet sense, I mean that literally. Hence why he doesn't even seem to mourn the Tower as much as one might expect. But Capella has very different reasons. Of course this is unnecessary to add, as I mainly based the "I love you" off of cut P2 dialogue, which I can reblog again if you'd like
