this was genuinely a nuclear bomb’s worth of content for visty fans especiallyyyy toma fans and as someone who’s been thinking abt toma a lot more ever since i heard it was going to be focused on her i was fed on levels i genuinely can’t believe

first off: explicit trauma reveal??? like lowkey hers was the easiest to guess from what we already had but getting the extra childhood details of her abusive father and the aftermath of the burn was genuinely so devastatingggg. again we need to kill mr hikage.

second: we actually got visty creation!!! yes!!!! i said before but i was genuinely surprised that kei wasn’t part of the group originally but now im even more glad that toma wasn’t the pov character for this bc she was genuinely such a good choice. like she connects w the other visty members really well in different ways and it was great to see her coping mechanism of reading everyone’s expressions and acting in a way to always keep the mood light in action and immediately pick up the role of the moodmaker. does she know how much of a pillar of the group she is too….

the trap reaction scene took me out back and shot me dead like i was genuinely in the car trying to not start crying bc my parents were in there with me. and i almost failed. and it’s really a testament to how kinda toma is also bc wdym she literally triggered herself Again just so aoi could calm down and comfort her. jesus christ

the bookending of the flashback parts w tom’s and kei talking was also really good bc we haven’t really gotten to see much of how visty aside from shogo and kantaro really felt abt kei so i’m really glad we got another perspective!! also the aoi having siblings drop was crazy like hello.
