happiness falters then , his promise sinking deep as eyes connect. they would finish this. one way or another. as hopeful as the sentiment was , fear still loomed. the thought of henry's revenge targeting billy once more to punish her. “   i need you to promise me one more thing though . . .   ” blue eyes steel in seriousness at the words. a secondary failsafe of sorts. “   no stupid hargrove heroics. you want me to trust you , then you trust me.   ” even if the plan ends up with you surviving and me dead for good this time.
