Imalia's World of Sims

You know, the super powerful program Pegasys made back in 2006 to track your sims' genetics, businesses, family trees and a ton more? The one that could download the info of all your sims via SimPE, but that part of it and some other parts don't work anymore?

I became obsessed with it a few days ago and decided to see if I could crack it open. And after two (2) full days of staring at filemaker pro..

Before you get too excited, a huge disclaimer: I am not the original creator of the program, I just opened it so we could make it work again. All credit for this tool goes to Pegasys. I just did some digital thingamajig and broke the digital lock they put on it. This is a community preservation project, not my original work.

The good news: The files are completely unlocked. All the layouts, scripts, and everything are accessible.

The... Other news: I am, to put it mildly, in way over my head. I got the door open but I don't know how to fix the furniture inside. I can't actually make it run properly myself.

If you open the calendar You should see lots of things that come in a set of 20. You are going to need to clone the fifth one of each season as many times as you need extra days, fix integrity/unique instances, and then make sure that they get inserted into the BHAV that is calling them. You will also need to add 5 more calendar pictures, but that is by far the easiest bit to do.

I know SimPE is meant to do that outside the game, but I haven't had working SimPE for two laptops now 🤔

I imagine the genes would be displayed by their ID numbers like they are in SimPE, though.
