Brooklyn not being too far out from The Heraldry it was a slight shock when he heard that there were actually a lot of people who had never visited the culture filled streets, sure there were rumors that lurked about how a man would get shot every few minutes, or people would be getting raped but in the long time that Zac had been traveling to that part of the state he had never really seen anything that would worry him, but then again Zac was that sort of person who always tried to find the best in the worst of places. So when Maya had informed him she was but one of the many people who had never been to Brooklyn Zac jumped at the opportunity to take the girl out, there was no harm in it really since all he had planned was to go around and show her some of the places he liked to photograph and on top of everything else it wasn’t bad that the girl he had decided to take with him was quite the looker which meant he would probably get a few good shot’s in.

Why anyone would want to photograph Brooklyn was beyond Maya's ability to comprehend, although she wasn't going to reveal that to Zac, no need to offend him just yet. Brooklyn was filled with poverty, crime and violence - she couldn't remember the last time she had seen anything beautiful there. And why would you want to take a photo of something that wasn't beautiful? She had thought photos were supposed to capture moments worth remembering. At least in her mind, Brooklyn wasn't worth remembering. Maybe he saw something in it she didn't. "So is this a hobby or a profession?" She asked as he held the door open for her and Maya stepped into the taxi, with Zac providing the instructions as to where to go. Photography was never something she had tried herself, art wasn't really her forte anyway. "And I've never been." She lied. "No one I ever grew up with really wanted to go. Neither did my college friends. So I never saw the trip worth taking. Maybe you can change my mind."
