Between Ostracism and (de)cadence, a shared concern emerges: understanding movement not as speed or spectacular displacement, but as a continuous transformation capable of eroding structures, narratives, and identities. The snail appears as a figure that simultaneously inhabits time, memory, and displacement, reminding us that even the most solid monuments eventually yield to the persistence of that which never ceases to move forward.

Between a closed exit and a glass door appears a suspended territory — an indeterminate state.
Starting from the idea that how it is outside is also how it is inside, we currently move through convulsive times, from the global to the personal — especially in my case.
This is a proposition about situating the body within that interval, in that limit, and revealing through an image the act of remaining at a frontier and making that discomfort visible.
Amid uncertainty and disorientation, the body becomes threshold and mirror, transparency and wall. The glass allows one to see without crossing; the closed exit prevents returning — entrance and closure simultaneously. Between these two limits, the body vibrates, inhabiting a space of transformation.
This action unfolds as an exercise in presence — a silent resistance that embraces indeterminacy — as the result of the workshop Situar el Cuerpo, led by the artist Seba Calfuqueo within the framework of BoCA Biennial in the city of Lisbon.
To inhabit the liminal is to suspend direction, to remain in the pause where meaning still remains unfinished.

Nocturnal Mycelactivity by MAx Provenzano evokes mycelium as a metaphor of connection and resistance. Accompanied by low-frequency techno music, the poetic gesture roots presence and unfolds invisible networks within the urban space.
A tree illuminated by projection of a videoart made with fragments of Fungus documentaries with songs of low frequency becomes the meeting point between root and city. Nocturnal Mycelactivity reflects on the invisible networks that sustain life, evoking mycelium as a metaphor of connection, care, and underground resistance. Within the ever-changing urban landscape, the action unfolds as a poetic gesture that insists on rooting presence and opening possibilities of connection. @provenstudio
As part of Árvore Mistela (Mistela Tree) - A collective performative project of Artéria @atelierarteria at MaisUno+1 @maisunomaisum
This installation will unfold as an open-ended constellation of actions, not necessarily synchronous, yet resonating through shared urgencies. It is an invitation to inhabit the cracks, the intermissions, the crossovers. Árvore Mistela is less about consensus and more about coexistence; less about choreography and more about co-presence. It allows for different materialities and formats to intersect: sound, movement, spoken word, drawing, archive, improvisation, score-based performance, and ephemeral installation. All participants are invited to contribute performative “entries” at Picoas Metro Station — akin to pages of an unbound book — that may be layered, revised, interrupted, or even erased over time. Each iteration is a provisional version of a larger, unknowable whole.
In a time marked by hyper-specialization and territorial boundaries (disciplinary, geographical, political), Árvore Mistela becomes a soft resistance: a curated chaos where performative practices becomes a method of gathering, of unmaking and remaking the social
body. It is a living collage in motion — one that listens, leaks, and leaves traces.
Opening on Saturday, Sep. 20, Artéria’s artists will carry the Mistela Tree from Atelier Artéria to Mais Uno Metro Picoas in a procession where they’ll collect the materials that will begin the installation. We invite you to join them at Atelier Artéria (Estrada de Benfica, 255-C) at 17:00 for the procession, or at MaisUno+1 Metro Picoas at 18:00 for the opening. Everyone is welcome to bring their objects and participate.

There are poems that aren’t written. They are sweated.
Poems made of phonetic errors, translated stutters, muscular torsion.
Verses slipping from the tongue like undocumented drops crossing a border.
Sweat Generis is not a conventional poetry series.
It is a body extended across three languages —Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese—
that seek not equivalence, but echo.
A kind of score meant to be read aloud, fragmented, stammered, failed beautifully.
Each poem is born from a physical state:
sweat as solvent,
clumsiness as chemical reaction,
migration as a phase transition.
From the voice of a queer, migrant chemist-artist,
these texts investigate the friction between linguistic particles:
the syllable mispronounced that becomes another,
the word that stops halfway,
the language that never quite arrives, but refuses silence.
Like molecules in collision,
the poems of Sweat Generis
never stabilize.
They are intermediates.
Ephemeral compounds.
Oral devices.
Sublime errors.
They do not seek meaning, but resonance.
Like the river projected behind the voice,
what these poems convey is not an exact phrase,
but a current pulling phonemes, memories, absences.
Sweat Generis is a series in constant drip:
it may become a book, a performance, a visual score, an expanded video or a sonic intervention.
Its form is shaped by the body.
Its chemistry, by the environment.
Its limits, by the language we have yet to invent.
Four themes, four ways of reading. Choose a book that speaks to you — explore the limits of languages and listen to voices from within and elsewhere.

This performance proposes a shift of the | BorderSlides | project towards the body as a site of inscription and a mutable border. The slides created in the "Faz Tua Própria Slide" workshop, made by children from the Cape Verdean migrant community in Talude, will be projected directly onto my body, which will act as a projection surface fixed against a wall. The body, motionless or in contained
tension, becomes a membrane between light and opacity, between the image and its living support.
Informality as Resistance is a group exhibition displayed through a series of free activities happening alongside the PLAY(THE)GROUND exhibition at FBAUL – Cisterna, Lisbon.
The pieces are consequences of the artistic residency PLAY(THE)GROUND 2024 leaded by MaisUno+1
