I drew these.
Normally, I'd only post the bee. The wolf is just not my style, and frankly not the quality if drawing I'd want to show people. There are so many obvious imperfections.
But I feel it is important to post both.
I was going through a block. Not due to a lack of ideas, rather due to my sketches not being "perfect". I have aphantasia, so I can't see an image in my head to draw it and I rely heavily on sketches to draw. Hence, them not being "perfect" alters my process heavily.
I don't know what drove me to draw the wolf. Just that, after I did and was about to fall into the "it's not perfect" trap again, I added the eyes and the shapes in the bsckground. Then, I outlined it. And due the mistakes in the outlining and how far I'd come, I decided to just go crazy. It was going to look bad anyways, why not have fun?
And that train of thought helped me get it done, and helped me to move on to the bee!
I guess what I'm saying is why not beautify your trash? Finish that sketch, have fun with that peice you're about to toss! Maybe you'll like the end result.

(I did colour the Knight's head with the image underneath just to get the shape right. That was giving me grief and I'm not used to drawing it.)

Hey all.
This is an odd request, but please understand where I'm coming from.
I have been searching for a Hollow Knight fic on AO3 for *months*.
The story, or as far as I can remember it, is that a vessel (Ghost) shows up a little too late. The day after the Hollow Knight has been sealed. And the Pale King has to live with this ghost of a child he loved, and the knowledge that he cannot save the vessel in the temple. It was too late.
Ghost shows a mind to think instantly, miming how the Pure Vessel WILL fail, by hitting the temple then their head.
The 5 knights and White Lady (who has not, and iirc will not, forgive the Pale King or get back together with him) try to raise this vessel as their own, teach it, give it a childhood. I do not remember if they succeed.
That's all I remember. Oh, it was a long fic. I don't remember the authors name.
I think there was something to do with ash...? Don't remember.
This might be me thing or not but I'm afraid to see my comfort characters getting hurt or even dying. Idk why but they feel real to me because they helped me feel so safe and comfortable. I know that I can make an au for myself but I like following canon.

Can we please stop it with the trope of the suicidal character sacrificing themselves for the greater good and calling it as part of their arc??? It may be controversial to say it but it kinda gives a really harmful message to your audience.
(especially if said audience is mostly made of a bunch of minors)

I feel like this applies to ssc too. Like I get he's in peace now, but he was very obviously suicidal (DO NOT DENY IT HE WANTED EFC TO KILL HIM AND IN BY 15 HE LITERALLY SAID HE DID NOT VALUE HIS LIFE, AND SMC'S LINES) and he killed himself. Sure it was "to not be a part of smc", but they could have gone a different way like redemption, make him salt of solidarity again, because he thinks he's unworthy as he's tainted.

here she is! took me a while to figure out which colors to use, but I liked the end result. I'm thinking about making a redesign of my first attempt at humanizing lace to make her more “flamboyant” per se. I still like her bicorn french hat a lot, tho. I'm keeping it.

See, here's the funny thing. I hate shadow milk because he killed my favourite, Silent Salt. Currently, seeing Shamilk brings me physical discomfort. This crk update was a lot, like it's the first time I've been so emotionally connected to a character and so impacted by a piece of fiction. I don't like the direction development sisters went, or that they killed the two suicidal characters but SOMEHOW SHADOW MILK IS STILL ALIVE??? But. But. This au is fine, and I'm gonna continue to read/ support it. Now excuse me a moment while I mourn my goat SSC.
