After returning home from Gibbi Point, Liam arranged a quiet date night for just the two of them. Emie thought it was simply his way of helping them reconnect after everything they had been through, but Liam had something much bigger planned.

What he didn’t know was that Emie had arrived with a surprise of her own.

Just as Liam asked Emie to spend the rest of her life with him, she was finally able to share the news they had both been waiting so desperately to hear: she was pregnant.

Lance did not intend on speaking to anyone that afternoon. He had walked away from the resort looking for some peace of mind when he spotted a young girl around his age who was taking pictures. Being born and bred in Gibbi Point, she instantly recognized him as someone who was not a resident of the place.

A cautious ‘hello’ led to directions, directions led to chatting, and soon enough she was showing him around, pointing out places which tourists often overlook. The rest of the afternoon passed by with them chatting, flipping through her pictures, and swinging on swings together.
