Hello anon! Thanks for hanging out on my Tumblr :)I think it’s a pretty widespread opinion that most people like Pokemon for its games and Digimon for the anime. I personally wish there was a good Digimon game. Maybe one day...

The 2 franchises are very different even though they both have “mon” in their names. Digimon Adventure has a main plot about big bad guys trying to destroy the world, kids lost in another world and trying to survive and really weird monsters. Also guns... Digimon has a lot of abs and guns for some reason.

I dunno... my love of Digimon is mostly fueled by intense nostalgia. And watching it now, I appreciate the weirdness of it.

I still don’t know how I feel about Digimon Adventure Tri though...

Hellooo! I’ve just wrapped up my contract on Open Season 4 and decided to try and go full-time freelance. I’ve been hard at work updating my portfolio. https://maudebreton.carbonmade.com/

I do lots of things, 2D and 3D animation, 2D FX and storyboards. Feel free to pass it along if you like my work. I’ve always done studio work for the past 8 years and freelance is a completely new thing to me.

On a similar note, I’ve been thinking of doing commissions to help a bit with the moneys. I just need to figure out the pricing and inner workings... More info on that soon.

Super old thing I started during the storyboarding class I took almost 2 years ago. Never finished it and only opened it once every couple months to work on it little by little. Basically it’s old, there’s a bunch of mistakes, props that phase in and out of existence, bad cuts here and there and rushed editing but I’m just glad that it’s done and that I can move on to other, better boards for my portfolio.
