Kid's Camp 2024 Character Designs

Just a small range of the stuff that I'm working on currently on my desk.

Illustration I did up for my younger son’s birthday party. This is done in a style that I am hoping to use a bit more prominently on my work and on this tumblr page.

School chalkboards that I designed and built for my boys. 8/2022

Just finished up some “quickly” rendered backdrops for Shelter Cove Kid’s camp 2022 entitled “Wild Frontier”. I don’t generally do stuff like this, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it and hopefully will be working on future productions.

Drawing kids’ monster creations again. It works wonders against the worst of artist blocks, at least for me. 

Tried out one of those “DTIYS” challenges with Fabien Ockto Lambert’s Migali piece. Fabien has a fun style and it was a fun challenge to translate into my own style.

Veteran’s Day 2021 illustration that I did for our Children’s Ministry at church. It was an honor to do, as I am a Vet myself.

Starting to learn gouache and starting with some fundamentals.

Starting work on a few comic projects after this.
