Ok so I know I keep disappearing off this blog, but for my sake because I am finding Impa hard to write long things for, I’m gonna be keeping things short on here. Para at most ( with exceptions ), mostly little things. She’s not a talkative person by nature and part of why I can’t write on here often is because I often can’t find her voice.
Apologies for the disappearance. I’m not going to make this a long explanation, suffice to say that my degree project was called awful, I had to rethink a new idea from the ground up in a week. This is a project that has been planned for a few months. It sucked, I’m still kinda stressing over it. I wanna be done with school. Promise I will do replies and junk on all blogs shit is just challenging rn...
I’m super happy that I wait to watch the Zelda Skyward Sword playthrough from the grumps cause I’m not sure I could have listened to arin die to the Imprisoned four times...
Her sewing has never been very good, but she's tried, with a black capelike wrap, stitched around the edges with slightly luminous runes for "warmth," "sight," and "block" stitched around the edge. She leaves it on the front porch, folded neatly beside the door. It's... as good a way as any to let her guardian know she's still out there.

The appearance of the thing on her doorstep was nice to see, even though she’d spent all those long months away from her home and traveling to parts unseen by those in this land. It was only when she’d recognized the runes that she realized she’d missed something rather important. Not that she would have been able to act on it at this point. As much as she could track down and return the favor, she knew that the young woman she’d practically raised would have her reasons for being hidden and out in the wilds on her own… Impa would have to find the villager who saw the gift laying beside her door and decided to cover it to save it from the elements. After all, such a gift shouldn’t be harmed by something due to the recipient’s own negligence .
When she actually put on the cloak, she was surprised at how warm it was. Of course she didn’t doubt the legitimacy of the runes on the thing, Zelda had long since mastered magic, even if there had been moments she’d wanted to do other things. So of course Impa allowed herself this one moment where she would be reckless, traveling to what had once been the castle grounds so she could spy on the creatures that called it home. The cloak should do the job it was made for, and if it didn’t or they saw through it, there were other methods at her disposal.
After all, she had to make it home to thank her ward in person.
