hc. pertaining to speed and agility, they are two different things entirely. Emoja is physically built like an athlete/acrobat but is slow speed wise due to him harboring the Elephant spirit. on the other hand, his reflexes are quick and his movements are agile in the terms of reacting. speed is the rate of motion, or equivalently the rate of change of distance. agility is the ability to change the body's position; it CAN require the combination of balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, endurance,and stamina.

because of the Elephant’s spirit, Emoja is omniscient and with that he is aware of all -- sometimes before it happens. that being said, he uses this ability to allow him the grace to be lithe on his feet while not lithe in motion. this is very important.

His body flexed underneath his clothing after hearing the voice of the woman before him. She was sharp, both literally and figuratively; dressed in a pin stripped suit and adorned with a massive blade. Her form was petite but she stood tall, it surprised him that she could wield her weapon so easily without tiring. Her words didn’t fall upon death ears, as he felt her exerted pressure. Chocolate orbs were fixed, trained to pick up on any slight movement. He wondered if the Elephant was needed.

“Do it.” He was a protector and stubborn. No one could make him turn on his heels running, especially when his duty was to serve. A fleeting heart wasn’t an option for someone in his position. “I dare you.”

He threatened.

Appearances were something Emoja was learning to get use to, in terms of judging books by their covers. He deemed people all the same, using their outward actions as the scales of judgment. Her movements were harsh and her walk was strong, her expression was hardened and it made his brows furrow. She was physically attractive; he thought she needed to be soft; not just physically attractive women – all women. They were roses, not to say a rose couldn’t protect itself – all roses held thorns – but more graceful in their moving. It has been a bothering issue for him and being as blunt as he was, he knew he’d strike a nerve.

“Ryuko…lighter steps. A smile maybe.” He said as he was cutting her off, t-bone style. “You’re so rough around the edges.”

In waves of obsidian, the world that was about them faded into nothingness as the ‘Remover of Barriers’ altered reality as they knew it. Everything woven within the tapestry of time and space was being reworked and forced together to make a new. In mere blinks of the eye, bright blue skies were replaced with a bright ashen hue. He was cloaked in shadows, and he moved like them. Lurking, she stood there in her madness and he had to save her. She needed to be reminded of her way, a heart tainted in wanting to do the right thing but going about it the wrong way.

‘Oh Elsa Maria, so kind and cold. You’re dark and welcoming. She fell victim and I blame you not. But I will bring her out, she will be freed of madness; of you!’

Her blade in one hand, dripping from the sharpened tip was liquid of thick body and dark color. It laced her form and soaked through to her skin. He approached her in slowness; weary of what was to happen of him but more so in wanting to protect her. In the darkness, her smile was shining but it was dipped in delusion.
