Last but not least, we have Fluttershy! This shy mare is half Pegasus and half bat pony, a rare combination to see in Ponyville. Because of this, she is rarely seen in town in order to avoid the curious eyes of her neighbors. It’s a wonder that she isn’t completely agoraphobic, but she often leaves her home to take care of the local fauna, and to visit her dear friend in the Everfree forest.

Introducing the beautiful and elegant Rarity. Despite growing up in Ponyville just like AJ, Rarity never had a big appreciation for her hometown. Instead, she dreams of moving to the esteemed city of Canterlot, where she can enjoy the classy high society prestige she knows she deserves. Just as soon as she gets her high fashion clothing line off the ground!

Howdy, it’s Applejack, everyponys favorite apple farmer! Being born and raised in Ponyville, she knows the land like the back of her hoof. This includes the section of the Everfree Forest that borders her orchard. While most ponies see the forest as something unnatural, something to be feared, AJ sees it as it is, a wild thing that deserves respect.

Here’s Rainbow Dash! She’s the fastest pony on Ponyville’s weather team, but that’s not anything to brag about when most of your coworkers fly as fast as a fuzzy bumble bee. What Rainbow really wants is to fly with Equestria’s most prestigious extreme sports team, the Wonderbolts! Will this small town filly with big dreams achieve her goal?

Say hi to Pinkie Pie! This bubbly mare is the friendliest Earth Pony in Ponyville! Yes, despite the little wings on her back, Pinkie is technically an Earth Pony. Her wings are completely vestigial and more akin to a birth defect than true Pegasi wings. Pinky thinks this makes her special and unique! (Though she sometimes feels lonely, not fitting into any specific group.)
