— I mainly write for Resident Evil (Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield), but I have dabbled in Devil May Cry (Dante) and Game of Thrones (Jon Snow) in the past.
— I write smut, angst, fluff, you name it! I prefer long-form writing as I have a hard time shortening my stories into one-shot format, but I'm trying to get better at that.

Sometimes, you don't need words to express love. I believe Leon in that moment was showing it in his actions, so even if he didn't explicitly say "I love you", the reader knew in her heart that Leon was utterly devoted to her and adored her more than anything else.
I also think "I love you" can be a tad bit overused in writing, so much so I feel like it loses it's meaning. Emotions feel more profound and impactful when those three words aren't said, but are more felt through the writing, if that makes sense.
None the less, I think I will have to write more in this series because... I mean... It's not like Leon would never not say it, am I right? (imagine a wink emoji, damn pc)
HIHIHI!!! Soo, I've been a long fan of you ever since I read Law of Attraction ( RE ). It got me giggling, crying, and all smiley and then I went after your other works which is HOLY BOMB. They're so beautifully written.
I need to know on how you'd start your writings and ideas because you inspired me into trying to be an author and try publish some writings in which I couldn't ( I just don't know where to start and how to make it interesting + sometimes forget my ideas ). I just love how well you wrote it!

I'm so happy to hear you're looking to get into writing. Personally, I take inspo from literally everywhere. Sometimes it's a random fantasy I have that I conjure up late at night while laying in bed trying to sleep, other times I get inspired by a song I hear or a scene in a movie.
Writing comes easiest when you base your story on what you know too. For Above My Pay Grade, I work a boring office job. So the fact that reader also works a similar occupation and yearns for excitement and companionship outside of her lonely life was not too farfetched. When you're writing things you've personally experienced or felt, the process feels a lot smoother. I believe a lot of writers base their characters or parts of their stories on personal experiences.
Likewise, I suggest surrounding yourself with any form of media you find enjoyable. Personally, I love listening to music and watching movies. The other day I was listening to Lips Of An Angel by Hinder (banger song btw) and was kind of imagining what it would be like if Leon was the man, and you were the one that got away. I conjured up a little story from there in my head, what if you called Leon even though you knew you shouldn't because he was the only one who could make the bad thoughts go away? What if you just needed to hear his voice to calm down the loud ones in your head? I just kind of let things snowball from there.
I've also been wanting to write something for Zuko from ATLA because I saw the leaked movie and haven't been able to stop thinking about it lol. I came up with an idea while rewatching the series... like what if you worked with Iroh in one of his teashops after the war and you helped manage one that opened in the fire nation. I thought it'd be a cute rom-com with Iroh purposefully trying to play matchmaker because he just wants his nephew and favorite worker to be happy.
So, yeah. Inspiration and the drive to write comes randomly and fluctuates. Even if you don't have a fully fledged idea, sometimes it's still good to just write it down. It could be 100 words, or it could be 10,000. Any practice is good practice, trust me. I have so many random drafts of one-shots with Leon in my google docs, it's kind of embarrassing. Sometimes, the biggest hurdle is just putting pen to paper, or in this case, finger to keyboard.

People complaining about Dante and Lady feeling “forced” in S2 of the Netflix anime are the same people who think that Dante is just a goofy, cheesy one-liner himbo that’s in love with pizza.

It’s the same with Leon, for years we’ve been given breadcrumbs into Leon’s personal life. We don’t even know when this mf’s birthday is, and the romantic aspects we do see are like… him saving Ada. The bare minimum.
Is the Netflix show perfect? No. Do I enjoy watching it because it gives me more DMC content that we rarely get? Yes.
