The ‘reblogs become their own post now’ update is universally despised, so naturally Tumblr staff’s response to this overwhelmingly negative, well-reasoned feedback is “Aww man we heard that you hate this so bad! And that’s sad because we want you to love it! Of course we are still doing it anyway but hope that instead of hating it you will simply choose to think it’s a good idea instead :)))”

Looks like they’ve walked it back! Good on them for listening to the user base and fingers crossed they’ll start to understand that nobody here wants twitter 2.0
