second, Rachni are the most interesting and unique race in all of ME and definitely my favourite of them all

they are one of the only three intelligent races (Rachni, Thorian, Leviathan) that survived more than one Reaper circle

their perseverance and the fact that even though Protheans bred them for war and destruction, by ME’s events the last survivors just want to be left alone instead of, rightfully, lashing out against the other races

i mean, just imagine how beautiful their cities/ nests would be if they were left alone, or there had been attempts at peaceful contact. we know that they are incredible builders even when all they’ve known is death, what would they create as a non-combative race?

if a peaceful contact was made, i think they would really hit it off with the Asari, like, much more than any other races

Rachni are (depending on your interpretation) the only race to beat or recover from indoctrination. On the side mission in ME3 Shepard has this conversation with the Queen:

Shepard: “Can you still feel the Reapers? Can they influence you?” Rachni Queen: “We hear the machines but they cannot control us. …”
