Surrounded by charming strangers, identities who will Tumblr choose?
Is your Blorbo niche and underappreciated? Or from something that’s so obscure no one’s ever heard of? Or do you simply wish to know if your blorbo would still be popular without that precious name recognition and beautiful character design? This tourney is for you!
THIS POLL WILL BE ANONYMOUS! Your character will be given a code name and join the party, aiming to win the heart of Tumblr on their own merits. Because of this, all propaganda must be submitted secretly along with the submission forms! Once scrubbed of all identifying markers, they will be presented on their own merits, the information used to make an argument against their opponents by yours truly.
Now, every sensible competition has to have rules! So let’s get that settled, shall we?
1. No real people! This should go without saying, but this is a competition for fictional characters ONLY. This includes Minecraft Youtubers.
2. No characters from overly bigoted/controversial media! Ie. South Park, Harry Potter, ect. If it causes real world harm, it’s best to be avoided.
3. When submitting, fill out the form to the best of your ability. The stronger the argument you make, the more likely your character is to get in.
4. Hatred, vitrol, and fighting is not tolerated at the masquerade! Be mindful of your fellow partygoers, and keep things polite and good-spirited. This tourney is for FUN. Don’t take it too seriously.
5. Characters of all popularity levels are allowed, but lesser-appreciated characters will be prioritized.
6. Guessing identities is allowed and encouraged, but try not to spoil the surprise for others!

Wow! What a great turnout, already! It’s been, what, two hours? And we’ve received 18 nominations! This will probably end up bigger than I had planned, so lets make it interesting, shall we?
The nominees will be divided into different groups, based on a shared aspect! What that will be will depend on what submissions we get. It could potentially be divvied up into humans and nonhumans, a separate bracket for children, or perhaps something more specific that they all have in common for the audience to guess!
Anyways, to spice things up, if my health permits, I will make custom masquerade mask designs for all of the semifinalists! That’s what the colors on the submission sheet were for ;)
