It’s A Phase

Mineta may be a bit of a creep (okay big creep) but homeboy’s got some valid points on not wanting to get shanked in his first year of secondary school 🥲

And then getting to the end of the season and just crying. Not only because it was over, but because the characters who deserved the most and held the most representation got destroyed.

I sat there and sobbed for over an hour.

I found Supernatural when I needed it the most. It raised me when my parents didn’t. And it comforted me in my worst moments. Even YEARS later, when my dad died it was still a constant form of comfort.

Supernatural also gave me the not so upfront representation I NEEDED. As a person of the LGBTQ+ community I saw myself in Castiel and Dean Winchester. I saw my behaviors and my words. I saw my doubts and values.

I will ALWAYS love this show. Forever in my heart. But jesus christ...

I have never felt so broken, betrayed, disappointed, and let down in my life. Stabbed in the back by the one thing I loved so dearly. It killed the gays (that I looked up to) and destroyed EVERYTHING the boys had worked for.

I sat on my floor and sobbed out of pure pain and hurt from the ‘finale’. Fuck you writers. You homophobic, disgusting, ignorant writers. Jensen Ackles was right to hate the ending you created.
