For the first trial our victim is Michael marks

During lunch time someone poisoned his fruit punch with floor cleaner. Lynn is able to determine his cause of death after she preformed a autopsy on him. during the trial Adam mentions how he saw Zep take floor cleaner from the supply closet telling Adam he “spilled his drink and was going to go clean it up” Adam also mentions how the floor cleaner he saw Zep take just so happens to look and taste very similar to floor cleaner to the point a lot of people have ended up in the hospital for mistaking it as such he knows this since his brother is also a orderly. They then determine Zep is the culprit for his execution he’s tied up then lowered into a giant body of water then he’s lowered to the ground and turned into a human mop his head he’s brutally rubbed against the ground until it turns into mulch .

For the second trial our victim is Allison Kerry

The killer invites Kerry to one of the bathhouses in order to “discuss with her there plan to escape” but really it’s just a trap to kill her. the killer attempted to drown her in order to not have a murder weapon that could be linked back to them however Kerry made it clear she wasn’t going down without a fight and she stabbed the killer in the stomach. The killer then panicked and quickly grabbed a dumbbell and bashed her over the head with it killing her. The killer then took a hacksaw and cut her body into several pieces and scattered them all over the bathhouse however they attempted to hide the head in order to make it impossible to determine what her cause of death was. The killer then attempted to clean off the blood on there shirt from the stab wound and tried to stitch there shirt up to hide the stab mark. During the trial Lynn comments how the cut marks on Kerry look like they were done by a hacksaw before this Rigg has given Eric a hacksaw from the supply closet because during lunch time Eric was having a hard time getting a coconut open. Lynn and Lawrence then propose the idea Eric is the killer since he was the person who had the hacksaw last however Rigg tries to defend Eric because Kerry was someone who they both considered a friend but Laura then testifies that she saw Eric and Kerry in the hallway and they seemed to be going in the direction of the bathhouse however the final nail in Eric’s coffin is when Amanda points out Eric appears to have some sort of stitch on his shirt implying he was trying to fix a hole in it with all this combined evidence there able to determine Eric is the culprit. For Eric’s execution I imagine he’s he tried to a target board and Billy would be shooting at him simple but fitting for the ultimate homicide detective

For the third trial our victim is Xavier Chavez

Xavier lured the killer to the library were he attempted to kill them however the killer was able to grab a box cutter and slit Xavier’s throat with it. The killer then panicked and ran out of the library with the box cutter leaving Xavier to bled out. The killer then got a hammer from the supply closet and smashed the box cutter to pieces and then throwing them all in the garbage however the killer did not actually dispose of all the pieces as Adam ends up accidentally stepping on the box cutter shards while there all investigating the murder. Laura ends up revealing that Addison had told her that she was going to the library prior to the murder and with they information there able to determine Addison is the culprit.

As for her execution I’m honestly pretty stumped on what it would be so I’ll let you guys come up with a execution for her

For the fourth trial our victim is Laura hunter

Prior to the murder Adam had become extremely paranoid that someone was going to try and kill him in his sleep Rigg tries to reassure him that Billy had told them all there doors were unpick-able and unbreakable and that the only way they could open it was if they had his key card but to give Adam extra reassurance he gives Adam a baseball bat to protect himself which ends up giving the killer a idea. During lunch time the killer puts laxatives from one of the first aid kits into Adam’s food so that ways he’ll he missing while the murder occurs the killer then tells Laura they saw Adam injured in his room being concerned for her friend Laura immediately ran there with the killer the killer then struck Laura with the baseball bat Rigg had given Adam earlier killing her instantly the killer then arranged the scene to look like there was a fight that lead to the murder they then ran back to the lunch room to tell everyone that they found Laura dead and due to the killer giving Adam laxatives earlier he was still missing while they were doing most of the investigation meaning no one saw him go in order out of the bathroom and thus making it so his alibi wasn’t credible. During the trial Adam tries to defend himself by saying “why would I ever kill Laura she was my friend” but that defense isn’t seen as reliable. Amanda then jumps to Adam’s defense by pointing out how it doesn’t make since that adam presumably premeditated this crime by telling everyone he was going to the bathroom prior to the murder but then be so careless as to leave the body in his room. Lynn then points out that Laura’s injuries don’t line with the scene since she only one had one mark on her head despite the scene implying there was a fight meaning she should have more injuries. Then they are able to determine tapp is the culprit because he made one fatal error he didn’t finish wiping all of the blood off his clothes and they saw he had a tiny bit of blood on his tie and combined with all the evidence from earlier they determine he’s the only one who could’ve committed the murder

Again I’m pretty stumped on a execution so I’ll let y’all decide one for tapp

For the fifth and final trial there is no victim

The remaining cast is called in for a trial in order to determine who the traitor is. You see throughout the entire killing game Billy had been alluding to the fact that there’s Been a traitor among them someone’s who’s been working with the mastermind this entire time and who helped set up the killing game and in order for everyone to be able to finally leave this place all they have to do is figure out who the traitor is. During the trial everyone thinks Lawrence is the traitor and are all about to vote for him but at the very last minute Amanda reveals herself as the traitor because if they voted wrong they’d all have been executed and Amanda desperately didn’t want to loose her new friends even if that costed her life. After this John reveals himself as the mastermind and he’s furious at Amanda since she “ruined” the killing game by revealing herself as the traitor instead of letting everyone figure it out on there own however he decides it would be unfair if everyone got punished for Amanda’s mistake so he tells everyone there all free to go however Amanda will have to face consequences for what she did that consequence being getting impaled by a bunch of spikes since he didn’t have a actual execution set up for her. however before she can be executed Lawrence pushes her out of the way and gets impaled instead. Everyone quickly grabs Amanda and the remaining survivors escape without Lawrence since they assume he’s dead

I thought it would be fun to incorporate the despair disease into this au for those of you unfamiliar with Danganronpa the despair disease is basically a highly contagious disease that causes a person to act the opposite of how they usually act for example if someone was very skeptical it’d cause them to be very gullible or if someone was optimistic it’d cause them to be pessimistic it’s meant to be another motivation for the character to kill each other as the cure to it is being withheld until they do it.

Anyways I’ve decided the characters who end up catching the disease are mark, Easton, and Strahm

Easton gets the remorseful disease which causes him to become extremely apologetic and sensitive

Mark gets the honesty disease which causes him to be unable to tell lies

And Strahm gets the joyful disease which causes him to be extremely bubbly and happy

While there all infected they all try to get Lawrence to help take care of them but Lawrence tells them there’s only so much he can do since this is outside of his area of expertise still he does his best to keep treat them

Perez doesn’t leave Strahm’s side while he’s being quarantined because she’s scared someone’s going to try and kill him while he’s sick

Unlike in the first killing game mark actually participates in this one though he’s in on the whole thing and helped set up the killing game like last time

Strahm plays the role of the protagonist in this one and him and mark have a similar dynamic to the one they had in saw 5 in that Strahm suspects mark is involved with the mastermind and doesn’t trust him however he’s forced to work with mark since mark is extremely helpful during trials they have a similar rivalry to the one nagito and Hajime had in sdr2

Perez is also extremely helpful during trials and her and Strahm have a similar dynamic to the one they had in saw 4 in that there besties and are constantly supporting and helping each other

Lawrence is one and only returning member of the killing game

I’m still not completely sold on this cast and I might move characters around later or add new ones but right now the cast for the second killing game are

The set up for this au is a bit different from the original danganronpa instead of creating the killing game in order to instill despair in people John actually sets up the killing game in order to discourage people from killing people. Basically the idea of the killing game is to test people to see how good natured they really are the idea is the last people to go throughout the entire killing game without killing anyone is truly a good and noble person the motives John gives them throughout the killing game are his way of testing if the participants would kill someone if given the right motive.

Instead of taking place at an abandoned school this killing game takes place at an abandoned hotel.

Amanda is also a participant in the killing game however she plays a similar role to how she did in the nerve gas house in that she’s in on the entire thing and is in the killing game to make sure everyone follows the rules and such. Mark doesn’t participate in the killing game well not the first one but he does help in setting it up by kidnapping everyone and giving John information on them to create motives for them
