I finished replaying TP again a few days ago (and fought Ganondorf like three times because I love that boss fight so much) meaning I got a lot of inspiration for this boy! ♥ I haven’t had this in awhile for him! So with that being said I’m finally cleaning things up on this blog! I unfollowed a few people, they were ones that were inactive/never followed me back (and I know they were mutually exclusive too so yeah). I also briefly went through my inbox and I might get rid of some of the old memes in there if I can’t remember what they were/have no motivation to do them. I’m also going through my drafts so now I currently have 17 untouched replies unless I missed something. That may not be a lot for some, but it is for me (especially since I still have things in the inbox that aren’t counted for within those 17 owed things). I know I said a couple weeks ago I was gonna sort out what I was gonna keep and what I wasn’t. Sadly I didn’t get to that but I will see what I can do as I try to complete them.

What doesn’t help is that my other main muse also has 17 drafts plus stuff in his inbox, then add up the other muses I have that need to be worked on and I’ve probably got like 50-60+ drafts that need to get done. That’s a lot. Not to mention I’d like to start some new things on here as well because everything on here is months old. (Don’t even try reminding me of exactly how old they are because that happened one of the last times I mentioned it publicly and I just...please don’t. I know these things are old and a reminder of that makes me feel like shit and even more stressed out. Gentle nudges are fine through my inbox, but not where all can see as you give an estimate of how long it’s been when I’ve clearly not been able to get anything done on here due to motivational loss. It makes me feel like garbage and less likely to want to get things done.)

So I’m gonna see what I can do with this boy while feeling like I can actually accomplish things. I also really want to make new graphics. Maybe not my promo banner, but definitely the mobile header and theme. They’re not super old, but they’re definitely a good few months old like dating back to summer 2016 so I’d really like to change them. If anyone would like to help/has suggestions let me know cause I’d love that! If not I’m sure I could probably still figure it out on my own in some way.

So for the sake of my own sanity I think I’m gonna be dropping some threads. I’m just in a really bad writing slump for all of my muses, including the two that I spend the most time with, so doing stuff and trying to keep up these past few months has just been really hard. That being said, sometime this weekend I’ll hopefully go through and make a list of whatever I’m keeping. It’d only be going off of all of the things in my drafts since I don’t exactly have a thread tracker to keep track of it all and I have the worst memory especially as time goes on. I’m probably gonna clean out the inbox too (because that’s a train wreck.) Not gonna lie, I feel really bad about doing that stuff but I also say yes to threads even if I’m not all that into it just to give it a try and to please others, which is not helpful when trying to keep your muses up. And no, I’m not talking about the threads with extensive plotting because if we extensively plot I’m pretty much behind that thread 110% and won’t be dropping it unless you want to. I actually need to stick by the fact that my blog says “selective” and enforce that a bit more. I hate to do that, but as I said my motivation with writing has fallen so much in the past couple of years that I really need/want to do the pieces that I enjoy and that my partners enjoy too. Cause if you don’t enjoy something it makes your replies feel stale when writing and that you’re not giving your all which I don’t like. So for the sake of my writing quality, my muses, my inspiration, and my enjoyment as well as whatever person I’m writing with I think this is the best direction to go in personally.

This is actually a good excuse to talk about Link! He’s always coming across as this perfect hero who manages to save everybody, but I don’t think that was necessarily the case. I mean, the poor boy had to have made mistakes along the way, especially with all the pressure everybody is always throwing at him. I like to think that during times when he did make mistakes, Grandpa Shade is always there to support him and let him know everything is okay.

After all, who knows better than Time about the struggle of being chosen by the Goddesses. ~ n~
