He looked at his watch. Then, picked up his recorder. ❝Proyect #34-8. Name of the spectator is Randall Ascot. Amateur archeologist. Time remaining: 4 minutes.❞

He stepped back and took out a remote from his satchel. It was almost 2 pm.

Well now, Randall would be inclined to disagree; not that he knows Layton’s life story, of course. He could just go on about archaeology and how great it is for hours. “Did he? Wonder if I’ve heard of him. Why did he stop?”

He could think of more questions if he wanted to, but evidently it was four minutes until the grand unveiling of a mysterious robotic invention. Things don’t get much more curious than that often, now do they? And his name is on record. “This better be cool, with all the dramatic build-up you’ve given it.”
