Luis took Leon’s hand. “Yeah. I forgot to mention you’d probably be weak for a while. Especially since you already have nerve damage in your shoulder. You got really unlucky.”

“I’ll live,” Leon said. “Unfortunately.”

He chuckled. Luis didn’t.

“What?” Leon asked.

“Don’t joke about that, Sancho,” Luis said. “I mean it. This world is a better place with you in it. My world is a better place with you in it.”

He kissed Leon’s knuckles, taking note of the bruises on them.

“Okay, okay, you’re a real gentleman, I get it,” Leon said, taking his hand away. His face was bright red.

“Aww, what’s the matter?” Luis teased.

“It’s just… silly, I guess,” Leon said.

“I was trying to be romantic. If this is gonna be a thing. Me and you.”

“Right. I guess I’m just not used to someone being so forward.”

“Aww…”

He kissed Leon’s hand again. Leon smiled nervously.

“Are you gonna blush like that every time?” Luis asked.

“It’s embarrassing.”

“That’s nothing. Watch this.”

He dramatically kneeled down and kissed Leon’s hand again, lingering for longer and looking up to see Leon frozen stiff and beet red.

Luis grinned and bit his lip. “Huh?”
